Usage
LPG excess flow valve is widely used for LPG pipelines and tank trucks ,it is an opening and closing device for controlling medium flow.
Operating principle and structural description
1. This valve is installed on the pipeline and is normally open within the normal rated flow rate.
2. The valve will automatically close if rate of flow exceed rated value and it will open when the rate of flow is less than setted value.When automatically opening, the imported medium is guided through the small hole (No. 5) on the valve core, and the spring automatically retracts and opens the valve after bilateral pressure is balanced.
3. The valve mainly adopts a conical sealing surface, with a spring controlling the flow rate, and uses the flow rate and thrust of the medium to control the flow rate on the pipeline.
Characteristic description
LPG excess flow valve is used for safety protection for liquefied gases like LPG, liquid ammonia, it will close immediately if the medium flow rate in the pipeline exceeds the set value or pipeline is damage, thus prevent accidents from happening.
