LPG Storage Tank is used for storing LP gas with 18 bar pressure,we need to make the hydrostatic test to inspect the quality of Pressure Vessel product in the manufacture process.The following is the step of the hydrostatic test.
(1) the test medium appropriate uses clean fresh water. Austenitic stainless steel containers with water as medium pressure test, the content of chlorine ion in the water is not more than 25 PPM. Allowed to have two style is less than the specified value, but it is less than the specified value of 70% is allowed only one.
(2) from the highest and lowest in facilities and convenient for observation of pressure test,We set up two pieces of pressure gauge. Upper and lower two pieces of pressure gauge range should be the same, and after checking. Pressure range of LPG Storage Tank is not less than 1.5 times and no more than 3 times the test pressure.
(3) open the vent valves should be taken before the test liquid. Liquid slowly to design pressure, after confirm no leakage after continue to step up to the test pressure, pressure maintaining time not less than 30 minutes, and then the pressure drop to 80% in the test pressure and inspection on all of the welded joint and connection parts.
(4) the eligibility criteria: no leakage; No visible deformation; No abnormal noise in the experiment. Under the water, after the standard tensile strength steel container limit is greater than or equal to 540 million mpa, nondestructive testing selective examination found no crack on the LPG storage tank surface.
So it is safe to use our LPG Domestic Tanks.
