First, the liquefied petroleum gas user safety gas common sense

1. Liquefied petroleum gas is a flammable and explosive dangerous product. Users should make “five meetings” and “five inaccuracies”.

(1) "Five Meetings"

a, will ignite. To master the principle of "fire and other gas", first use the ignition, then open the air.

b. The pressure reducing valve will be loaded and unloaded. Before installation, first check the rubber seal of the head of the connecting rod for any change and fall off; when installing, the hand wheel is aligned with the valve port of the cylinder. Rotate counterclockwise to tighten.

c, will adjust the damper. It is best to adjust the flame to blue.

d, will test leaks. Frequently check the leaky parts such as cooker switches, hoses, pressure reducing valves, and cylinder angle valves. Apply soap liquid during leak test, and do not allow open flame test.

e, will deal with emergencies.

(2) "Five inaccurate"

a. It is not allowed to place the cylinder in the open sun, rain and wet places under the scorching sun.

b. It is not allowed to heat the cylinder with open flame or hot water or steam.

c. It is not allowed to invert the cylinder or use it in a horizontal position.

d, the user is not allowed to pour the residual liquid.

e, liquefied gas is not allowed to be used in the same room as other fire sources.

2. The LPG Storage Tanks should be placed in a place that is easy to move, well ventilated, and has no flammable materials around. The distance between the cylinder and the cooker or heat source shall not be less than one meter, and the temperature around the cylinder shall not exceed 45 °C.

3. The cooking room should ensure sufficient ventilation. It must be taken care of when using it to prevent the wind from blowing out or the soup overflowing to extinguish the flame, causing leakage and accident. Each time the cooker is used, the cooker switch and the bottle angle production and supply should be turned off at the same time. It is not allowed to close only one valve.

4. If the cylinder angle valve or pressure reducing valve has an obstacle, it should be sent to the gas station for repair or replacement in time, and the user should not dismantle it.

5. The cylinders are not allowed to be stored in bedrooms, offices, corridors, basements and flammable warehouses. LPG Storage Tanks, which have been inspected every five years for less than two years, and every two years for more than two decades. Steel cylinders that have not been inspected for an extended period of time shall not be used.

6. If a large amount of liquefied gas is found to leak, first close the bottle valve, open the door and window to ventilate the air, prohibit all kinds of open flames (coal fire, smoking, etc.), and prohibit opening and closing all kinds of electrical appliances.

7. In the event of a fire, the valve should be closed as soon as possible, and the cylinder should be moved to a safe place with no open flame. Do not knock the cylinder down and report the fire to the fire brigade.

Second, the liquefied petroleum gas cylinder quality and safety self-examination "five laws"

Look at the nameplate sign. Whether the content is complete and standardized, whether the cylinder manufacturer is approved by the state, whether the quality of the product is stable, whether it is a qualified product, whether there is a nationally recognized inspection and inspection mark of the pot inspection agency "CS". Second look at the bottle logo. Whether it is accompanied by a nationally recognized cylinder inspection center for regular inspection of the qualified mark. According to the national regulations, the cylinders are tested every 5 years within 20 years, and after 20 years, every 2 years, the unlabeled and unexpired cylinders are unreliable. Third, look at the appearance of the bottle. Are there cracks, arc damage, flame burns, and other visible volume deformations? Fourth, look at the quality of the weld. Whether there are cracks, pores, craters, slag inclusions and unfused defects in the heat affected zone of the weld, whether the main weld has undercut, and whether the weld of the welded parts of the bottle has a undercut on the side of the bottle. Whether there is a depression or irregular mutation in the surface of the weld. Look at the cylinder seat. Whether there is collapse and crack, whether the bottle valve thread is damaged, whether the thread of the tail valve of the bottle valve, the air outlet, the bonnet, the valve core and the like have a partial gap which is seriously exceeding 1/3 of the thread height and 1/5 of the circumference of the length. One of the above cases is a defective cylinder.

Second test. Dip the bottle into the water, tighten the closing hand wheel, observe whether the valve port and the valve stem leak, block the valve port, slowly open the valve stem to the open state, observe whether there is leakage at the valve stem, and the airtightness is unqualified.

Three smells. The bottle body is connected with the cooker to maintain a safe distance, in a burning state, close to the mouth of the bottle, to smell whether there is a heavy odor, and there is a leak.

Four scales. Ordinary cylinder empty bottle weight 17kg (error is plus or minus 0.5kg), filling gas 15kg (error is plus or minus 0.5kg), in some areas due to hot weather, the regulation is 12.5kg (error is plus or minus 0.5kg). Weigh before use to see if it is enough, after weighing, to see if the remaining residual liquid exceeds the standard, the super is the quality inspection period cylinder.

Five checks. Check whether the units and fixed and mobile points of the LPG Storage Tanks that they have changed have obtained the “City Gas Enterprise Qualification Certificate”, and whether the staff of the registered sales outlets of the company hold the employment documents and work certificates. Otherwise it is illegal and the quality of the cylinder cannot be guaranteed.

The above five methods are the most basic knowledge of purchasing and using high-quality liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, as long as you can master it to ensure safety.

Third, liquefied petroleum gas carefully fire

Liquefied petroleum gas is characterized by its flammable, explosive, toxic and suffocating properties. Its specific gravity is heavier than air in the gaseous state and lighter than water in the liquid state. After understanding these basic characteristics of LPG, we should pay attention to it in our lives:

When selecting a liquefied petroleum gas supply station; be sure to select a supply station that has passed the fire department approval and has a fire protection permit;

After each use, the valve switch should be closed in time;

It is forbidden to use cylinders that do not meet the standard. It is strictly forbidden to dismantle the angle valve or pressure reducing valve.

It is forbidden to inject cylinders, and it is strictly forbidden to lay the cylinders;

Do not use any open flame and plug-in or switching power supply when leaking. Do not dump the residual liquid:

It is forbidden to bring the gas cylinder close to the fire source or heat source, and it is strictly forbidden to warm the cylinder with fire, steam and hot water;

It is forbidden to leave when using; children and sick people should not use it; it is strictly forbidden to use the LPG Storage Tanks in the bedroom.

4. How to pay attention to fire safety when installing liquefied petroleum gas stoves

Liquefied petroleum gas stoves are very powerful, easy to use, cooking and heating are available, which is very popular. However, it also has certain risks, and special attention should be paid to fire safety.

(1) The liquefied petroleum gas stove should be installed in a ventilated position in the kitchen, not in the bedroom.

(2) The distance between the liquefied petroleum gas stove and the liquefied petroleum gas cylinder shall not be less than 0.5 m.

(3) LPG Storage Tanks should not be placed near radiators or other sources of ignition.

(4) Always pay attention to check whether there is air leakage at the interface of the LPG stove.

(5) After the liquefied petroleum gas stove is used up or before going to sleep, check whether the valve on the liquefied petroleum gas cylinder is closed.

5. What should I do with LPG and gas?

The fire here refers to the burning of a stable flame. It generally does not cause a gas cylinder or pipe to explode. Because there is a certain pressure in the pipeline and the gas cylinder, the flame will be blown far away. How much will burn when the gas runs out, and the pipeline and gas cylinder will not form high temperature.

First, if there is a fire at the liquefied petroleum gas pressure reducing valve or the gas pipe interface due to air leakage, the flame is small, and the fire can be covered with a wet towel or a rag to extinguish the fire.

Second, if the flame is very large, you can wet the body, use a wet towel, wet clothes to keep your hands and face tight, rush from the side of the flame, close the angle valve, and the fire will be extinguished. But if you panic and knock down the cylinder, it is quite dangerous.

Third, if the fire has already ignited some furniture and clothing, in the case of small smoke, you can quickly extinguish the surrounding fire with water or a fire extinguisher, and immediately transfer the cylinder to avoid explosion, otherwise you should immediately report the fire to the fire brigade.

6. Liquefied petroleum gas poisoning

The main components of liquefied petroleum gas are propane, propylene, butane, butene, and all hydrocarbons constituting liquefied petroleum gas have strong anesthetic effects. However, because of their low solubility in the blood, under normal pressure conditions, there is no effect on the physiological function of the body. If the concentration of liquefied petroleum gas in the air is high, so that the oxygen content in the air is reduced, it can cause suffocation.

(1) Poisoning performance

After poisoning, there are dizziness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, and dysfunction of the numbness of the limbs and the shape of the glove socks. When exposed to high concentrations, people can be comatose.

(two) first aid

Quickly remove the wounded from the scene, unpack the broadband, keep warm, and breathe oxygen. Use brain cell metabolism agents. Such as cytochrome C, APT, coenzyme A and vitamin C, B1 B6, B12; Respiratory stimulants such as colamin and lobeline can be used in patients with respiratory failure.
